BRIDAL LINGERIE and 5 TIPS FOR ORGANIZING A WEDDING
When the moment finally arrives and you say "YES, I want to marry you," excitement is the first thing that comes to mind, but after a few days... a cloud of tasks descends upon you, and the stress of preparations, what to do and how to do it, prevents you from thinking clearly, right?
The first things that come to mind are: What will my dress be like? And the bridal underwear? Where will I celebrate it? Church? Estate? When do I need to start planning? And so, an endless list of questions!
But come on, don't get overwhelmed; everything will work out little by little, especially with patience, care, and good planning.
At Singular, for example, we're going to advise you on the most beautiful bridal lingerie you could ever imagine for the most special day of your life, your wedding day. But we'll also advise you on the most important vendors you should consider hiring for your big day.
Here we go!
Let's start with Bridal Underwear
The Bridal Robe
The robe? Of course! The robe is a very important accessory on your big day.
We all dream of having a beautiful, perfect day and, therefore, being able to preserve it through photos, right? That's why you can't overlook: hiring a photographer to accompany you throughout your day, and the bridal lingerie set you'll wear while getting your hair and makeup done.
Keep in mind that throughout this process, the photographer will already be capturing moments with their camera, and, of course, even if you're not yet wearing your wedding dress, you should already be wearing princess lingerie that is perfectly in line with this day.
You wouldn't think of wearing your everyday cartoon pajamas, would you? :) :)
This is the perfect moment to dress in your bridal lingerie robe. Because you'll simply want to feel beautiful from the moment you wake up and start getting ready.
And besides using it that day, you can also use it as pajamas on your honeymoon. The bridal robe is not a piece of bridal lingerie that you'll only use for a specific moment. If you want, you can give it a lot of life :)
Bridal Lingerie / Bridal Underwear
And after talking about the bridal robe, we move on to the underwear you'll wear underneath it, and even under your wedding dress.
You have a lot of accessories to choose from:
-Nightgown, bridal pajamas, or baby doll. If you want to give it an even more special touch, remember that you can always opt for a bridal lingerie nightgown, beautiful lace bridal pajamas, or the classic baby doll that never goes out of style for your wedding night. All these accessories, of course, can also be part of your wardrobe for honeymoon nights.
-Underwear (bra with a low-cut neckline, strapless, backless, push-up, plunging... bridal briefs, bridal garters, bridal body...): any type of bridal lingerie you can imagine, you'll find it at Corsetería Singular. You'll need to consider your dress before buying your bridal underwear. Depending on the neckline of your dress, the type of fabric, etc., you can choose one type of bridal bra or another, and the same goes for bridal briefs.
-The bridal garter. Normally the garter is ALWAYS a gift: from your best friend, your cousin, your sister, your mother, your sister-in-law! You probably already know this, but keep in mind that you need to wear something blue on your wedding day, as it will bring you good luck, or so they say! (and bridal garters usually have a blue detail :))
Many of you ask us daily about this. We know that not all of you can wear the underwear you would like on your wedding day because you have to stick to what the wedding dress allows. That's why we wanted to show you the many possibilities you have to wear beautiful bridal lingerie, before and after the wedding, if by any chance your wedding dress doesn't allow anything underneath that shows lines or lace, for example.
At Singular, we work hand-in-hand with Ivette Bridal, Promise Bridal, Dorina Lingerie... who create bridal lingerie and corsetry pieces that will adapt very well to the impossible yet spectacular wedding dresses designed today. Don't doubt it! You can see all our Bridal Lingerie by visiting our Bridal Lingerie section.
And remember, as we always tell you, if you have any questions or need advice, just contact us. We'll be delighted to help you with anything you need :)
After showing you a little more closely what type of bridal lingerie and bridal corsetry could be perfect for your big day... let's move on to some tips on preparing for your big day.
That day can be complete madness if you don't organize it well, and sometimes even with much more time than you imagine, it's not enough.
In today's post, we're also going to help you with how to prepare/organize a wedding in 5 simple steps.
We'll set aside bridal lingerie for a bit to talk about other very important topics. Here we go!
The first thing you need to consider when organizing your wedding is, above all, your budget. From here, a lot of stress will already disappear, because at least you'll know and be clear about what kind of things or preparations you can do, and which you cannot.
A wedding can be tremendously expensive. It's important, before we start organizing anything, to think about how far we can go. This way, we'll know how to discard or include things much more quickly and, most importantly, without later frustrations.
How to start preparing a wedding in 5 simple steps:
1. Time of year.

What time of year do you want to get married? This will largely depend on where you live.
Generally, summer months are the best, as there is less chance of rain.
As a tip, even if you get married in a month with a low probability of rain, it's always advisable to look (just look) for a tent provider to have a plan B just in case. You'll avoid universal stress if, for whatever reason, it rains at the last minute that day.
Are you a daytime or nighttime person? Getting married in daylight or with beautiful lights hanging from all the trees or from the ceiling of a beautiful restaurant?
Important: Your wedding budget can also be an important factor in determining whether it's better to get married during the day or at night. Daytime weddings, having more potential to extend into the night, tend to be more expensive.
2. Number of guests.

Another super important thing to consider is the number of guests you want to attend your big day. It's not the same to organize a wedding for 100 people as it is for 500 people, don't you think? ;)
One phrase we are all tired of hearing is... "When I get married, only very close people will come; I'm not doing favors for people I haven't seen in years." RIGHT? :) And then, without meaning to, we end up with a lot of obligations: parents' friends, cousins from the village, work commitments, grandparents' cousins you don't even know...
It's very important, before you start organizing anything, to sit down with your partner and jointly decide that you are the protagonists of YOUR day. You should only invite the people who truly bring a smile to your face when you see them with you that day.
Our advice is that before you start organizing anything, you clarify this matter with your partner. This way, you'll avoid the typical "little arguments" like: I thought everyone was coming, I thought it would be more relaxed, more intimate, etc., etc.
3. Who will officiate the ceremony.
If you're getting married in a church, enough said :) Time to find a church!
And when you get married on an estate...
Normally, when civil weddings are held on estates, a justice of the peace is usually hired to attend the venue to conduct the ceremony and marry you directly there.
You can also get married a few days earlier at the courthouse or notary public, and on the wedding day...
Have a close family member or friend with charisma officiate your wedding :) This option is becoming more common at weddings, as it makes for very emotional and special ceremonies.
Remember that in this latter case, you would have to arrange the paperwork beforehand at the courthouse or notary to get married earlier.
4. Food.

Over time, weddings have evolved a lot. So much protocol has increasingly been set aside to achieve much more youthful, informal, special, and above all, more fun weddings. It's a day of celebration and it should be celebrated in style!
Even so, the cocktail hour and the seated meal or dinner remain the main events. At each moment (cocktail or meal), you can vary or add things to make your wedding much more special.
For example, during the cocktail hour, apart from what the catering or restaurant offers, you can always add other little things like:
- Ham carver.
- Sushi bar
- International cheese board
- Cocktail bar
- Food trucks.
- Dessert table.
- Fruit table.
Then, at the table, seated for lunch or dinner, you can do the same. It will always depend on you and your partner whether you want a longer or shorter meal, to move on to dancing and partying sooner.
5. Decoration.

It's up to you to create a beautiful and welcoming space so that everyone feels happy on your wedding day. Two very important vendors to consider will be: Flowers and Lights (the latter if you're getting married at night).
Here you'll need to consider your wedding style.
Do you want it more elegant? Classic? Bohemian? Rustic?
Once you're clear on the style, choosing the flowers and lights (if it's a night wedding) will be a very simple task.
And ladies! With these 5 points, you can at least start organizing your wedding.
Of course, there are many more things you need to consider when organizing your wedding, but the basics are in these lines.
