Bra Size Guide

*You can download this chart to your phone to view it more calmly, and we recommend that if you have access to a computer, you view it there as it will be much larger and easier for you to find your bra size.

First: calculate your bra band size

Now, once you've seen the bra size chart, we'd like to give you an example to make it even clearer.

Remember that if after reading this entire article you still have doubts about finding your ideal bra size, you don't have to worry. Just send us a WhatsApp or an email!

Let's go with the example:

Imagine you've measured your underbust (just where the bra band sits), and the tape measure showed 65 cm.

You looked for this number in the first chart. The band size specified for 65cm is a Band Size 80.

Perfect, we're doing well!

Second: calculate your bra cup size

Now, measure your bust around the fullest part, at nipple level, without tightening.

If you can wear a bra, even better, it will be more accurate. In this case, try to wear a bra that doesn't alter the natural shape of your breasts too much.

The number you got now is 88cm.

Okay, now you look back at the first number you got from table 1, which was 80, you find it in table 2, always in the first column, and once you have it, in that same row, you look for the number you got when you measured around your bust. In this case, it was 88cm.

And that's how you'll get the cup size too!

Table 1 gives you the band size

Table 2 gives you the cup size

It couldn't be simpler! Right?

Size equivalence chart

Oh! And something super important, girls! The size you get from this size chart will always be FRENCH/SPANISH SIZING (FR/ES). At Singular, we work with Spanish sizing and NOT European sizing (EU).

Many girls who already know their bra size and don't need this size chart go directly to the bra they want to buy and choose the bra based on the EU or European size.

This is a very common mistake when buying a bra, and that's why we'd like to emphasize this point a bit more.

In Spain, generally, lingerie and corsetry stores usually follow French / Spanish sizing (FR/ES). There are still some stores that follow European sizing (EU), which is why, if you are used to this type of sizing, when you come to Singular, you might not realize that our sizing is different.

You can find your equivalent size to buy a bra at Singular in this little table we've provided above.

As you can see, the only difference between EU sizing and FR/ES sizing is the band number. You won't notice anything about the cup in this table because the letter is the same.

So now you know, if you're going to buy a bra at Singular, make sure you know your correct size using our first table, "Find Your Perfect Bra Size," and if you already know it, then check any bra label you have at home to make sure you're actually looking at FR/ES sizing and not EU sizing.

And what about equivalent bra sizes?

In addition to knowing the equivalence between FR/ES sizing and EU sizing, there is another type of equivalence that can be super useful when you already know your usual size: equivalent sizes or sister bra sizes.

These equivalences allow us to play with the band and cup when, for example, our size is out of stock or a particular bra is not manufactured exactly in our usual combination.

That is, once you know your correct bra size, you can still have two other very close alternatives that can help you out of a bind.

In this article, we are not going to develop it completely because we have a specific guide dedicated to equivalent bra sizes, but we wanted to mention it here because it is part of everything you should know to understand how bra sizes work.

Now you can look for your ideal bra!

Once you know your size, we can now focus on the most fun part: finding the bra that best suits you, your bust, and what you're looking for.

Do you have large breasts?

If you have a large bust size, at Singular we will always recommend minimizer bras or full-cup bras.

Many women have a terrible fear of the term "minimizer bra." They think that just because it's called that, they'll find classic, lifeless bras. And that's not the case!

Minimizer bras are ideal for women with cup sizes from C to M. This type of bra can be just as beautiful and sexy as any other bra.

What makes them minimizers then?

The construction of their cups.

Thanks to their high cups in the underarm area, this type of bra will support your breasts not only from the top but also from the sides, smoothing out this area and thus achieving a much more streamlined silhouette.

For this type of bra, it is especially important to pay attention to how it fully supports the breast, the height of the sides, the band, and that the cup has the appropriate capacity.

If you want to see this type of bra, we recommend you enter our minimizer bras category and let yourself fall in love with the beautiful things you'll find!

Do you have small breasts?

If you have a small bust size, you have two options: choose a bra that enhances the breasts you already have, long live naturalness! Or, choose a bra that visually increases your bust and makes you feel more comfortable, if that's what you're looking for.

Push-up bras have always been a Top Seller in any lingerie and corsetry store.

If you're looking to visually increase your bust, always opt for a push-up bra that not only enhances your bust but also creates a natural and beautiful shape.

But before buying any bra, keep a little trick in mind: if you're just looking to enhance your bust and create a beautiful cleavage, then choose a push-up bra.

If you're really looking to increase breast volume, then we recommend looking for a bra with more push-up, meaning a super push-up bra or a double push-up bra.

If you want to see padded bras, you can enter our push-up bras category and see all the models we have.

And, if you're one of those girls who likes their breasts just as they are (we love you!), then you can opt for an unpadded bra and play with lace, transparencies, wire-free styles, prints on tulle fabrics, or even bralettes, which are undoubtedly our favorite style, both for women with larger bust sizes and for women with smaller bust sizes.

The next level to finding your ideal bra size

If, after all these tables and equivalences, you are still unsure about which size to choose, we have created the perfect tool for you that will save you all the headaches before getting the ideal bra for your bust: THE SIZE CALCULATOR!

With just 2 measurements, you will be able to find out what size is right for your band and cup. It's that easy!

Furthermore, after you find out your correct size, we will show you a selection of all the bras we have on our website that are available in your size.

This will make it much easier to find your ideal bra.

Frequently asked questions about finding my bra size

How do I find my bra size?

To find your size, you need to measure your underbust circumference and then the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. With our table, you can use the first measurement to find the band size and the second to determine the cup size.

How do I know what bra cup size I am?

Once you have found your band size in the first table, look for that same size in the second table and use your bust measurement to find the corresponding cup letter.

Where do I need to measure to calculate my size?

The first measurement is taken just below the bust, around the torso. The second is taken around the fullest part of the bust, approximately at nipple level, without pulling the tape measure too tight.

Is an FR/ES size the same as an EU size?

No. French/Spanish (FR/ES) and European (EU) sizing use different band numbers. That's why it's important to always check which sizing system appears on the bra label before choosing.

What if the size I get is very different from the one I usually wear?

If the result from our table or calculator is very different from your usual size, please email us your measurements before placing an order and we can review it together.

Are there equivalent sizes if my size is out of stock?

Yes. Once you know your usual size, there are sister or equivalent sizes that can help you when your specific cup and band combination is out of stock. At Singular, we have a specific guide where we explain this trick in much more detail.

We hope we've been a great help!!! And most of all, we'd love to help you if you need it, ♥ Remember that! ♥
