Does the perfect sports bra for large sizes exist?
Having a large bust and playing sports can sometimes feel like an impossible mission. That is, until you discover Singular Corsetería's sports bras.
Yes, we know, many of us love having large breasts, but when it comes to playing sports, at this point in the day we wish they would disappear by magic, right?
Since we know this, because it happens to us too, and many of you come to us DESPERATE about this issue, we are going to dedicate today's post to showing you the sports bras for large sizes that will make your breasts magically disappear for sports. Well, disappear, disappear, we think that's complicated... but what if we just focus on finding that perfect sports bra that keeps your breasts in place, no matter how much you jump or move?
Because yes, they exist. Sports bras that put your breasts in place and ensure they don't move at all, not one bit, during exercise, DO EXIST!
What should a sports bra for large sizes be like?
-Wire-free is better. Wire-free sports bras for large sizes are always the best option for maximum comfort and support when exercising. Never be guided by, "if it doesn't have wires, it won't support as well." If a wire-free sports bra is of high quality, the support will be extreme. Support does not depend on underwires; support depends on how a bra is constructed, on its components.
If a sports bra has underwires, it must be an exceptionally high-quality sports bra. Keep in mind that underwires can be uncomfortable during certain movements. Therefore, before choosing an underwired sports bra, really consider what type of sport you will be doing. Is it a sport that requires a lot of movement? We recommend choosing one without underwires for maximum support. However, if it's for walking or low to medium impact sports, and you prefer underwires, there's no problem!
-Wide straps. Wide straps will always help us achieve extra breast support. It's great to be able to use extra pieces to keep our breasts in place, no matter how much you move. In addition, wide and even slightly padded straps will greatly help prevent any chafing on your shoulders due to the weight of your breasts. Remember, a wide and padded strap is a perfect ally for sports ;)
-Extra strong and wide band. It is very important, before buying any sports bra, to look at the band of the bra. Take a good look at the band. Does it look strong? How does it close? Is it at least medium width?
-Extra strong, reinforced cups. Extra strong cups are usually an added bonus when it comes to ensuring your breasts don't move at all when you exercise. Our advice is to always choose a sports bra with a full cup, a complete cup. This way, the breasts will be as contained as possible and you will ensure that they don't escape or move from their place, no matter how much you move.
-Breathable. Although this is not a fundamental point for whether the breasts move or not during exercise, we believe it is for our comfort when exercising. If a sports bra is of good quality, its band and cups will be breathable. This will help the skin breathe in moments of extreme heat and, VERY IMPORTANTLY, prevent annoying chafing or sores caused by the bra rubbing against your skin when you get hot.
And a super important point to keep in mind…
Why not bother choosing a good sports bra if you have large breasts?
Do you know the effects of breast bounce? When we play sports, our breasts can suffer a lot, even to the point of causing us pain, tightness, and of course, premature deterioration.
When you jump, run, or simply make sudden movements, and your breasts are not well supported, you are causing irreversible effects on your breasts. The more movements you make with poorly supported breasts, the breasts…
Will sag faster.
With movement, tightness will occur, and therefore, stretch marks will appear very soon.
Your back will start to hurt due to the extra weight you bear during these extra movements.
It is super important to choose a sports bra that is your size, of good quality, and that supports and holds your breasts perfectly.
Depending on your cup size, you will need a more or less supportive sports bra.
Our advice is that, if your cup size is a D cup or larger, choose Anita sports bras.
If your cup size is an A, B, or even C cup, you can choose others with less impact, such as Selene sports bras. But always keep in mind what type of sport you practice, because, let's be reasonable, if you have a 95C or 100C, and you are doing TRX, an Anita sports bra will make your training much easier.
