Women's concern with having a lifted bust goes way back. By nature, women are coquettish, and although some of us don't need bras to be comfortable (those with a 32B know what I'm talking about), many others **find it absolutely necessary to wear a proper bra!** A bra that can not only lift our bust but also support it and prevent it from bouncing with every movement we make.
Well, the need to create and design a bra probably stems from here. Because there are many stories about who and how the first bra was created, but at Singular, we are sure that, before all that, women with large busts already managed and devised ways to support their breasts and move comfortably.
Actually, the first precise data about the bra dates back to 1914, when American Mary Phelps Jacob patented it.
**They say Mary bought a dress in which the corset was visible everywhere, and it was there that she improvised the first bra in history, with some simple handkerchiefs and ribbons!**
As a curious fact, the invention of the bra didn't succeed until years later. Mary had to sell the patent to a large American company, and it was then that this invention literally began to triumph.
And why have we told you all this? Because, in relation to what we want to tell you now, we find it very, very curious.
How, from an idea of handkerchiefs and ribbons, the bra was born, and with the passage of time, we have such a wide variety of bras, which is what we really want to talk about.
Today we can find all kinds of bras, for all types of girls, for all sizes, and for all tastes and colors! Perhaps we don't realize how lucky we are. **What bra size do you wear? Imagine (or don't...) that you wear more than a 38D, for example. Can you imagine how uncomfortable you would be throughout the day if the bra hadn't been invented?**
In this week's post, we're going to summarize bras into two categories: bras for large bust sizes and bras for small bust sizes. In the next post, we'll divide them even further!

Large size bras are specially designed for women with a large bust size who are only looking for maximum support and comfort, without the need to flatter or minimize the figure.

Bras for Small Sizes
Push-Up Bras
Those with a small bust often look for push-up bras. Push-up bras are ideal for enhancing the bust, if it's a normal push-up, or for increasing it, if it has a double push-up or more.
Padded Bras for Small Sizes
However, many girls also prefer not to increase their bust, but only to shape what they already have. For these types of women, the perfect bra will be a normal padded bra.
Unpadded Bras for Small Sizes
And, finally, unpadded bras. Unpadded bras are very fashionable now, both for girls with large busts and for girls with small busts. Among the most popular small-sized bras are unpadded bralette-style bras.
